Bella Gallegos is a self-taught artist with a deep love for landscapes and architecture, shaped by a childhood split between Colorado and New York City. After moving to Los Angeles to pursue work in environmental and social justice, her visits back to see family in Hoboken brought her face to face with the iconic Hoboken Ferry Terminal — a building she had long admired. She captured it in watercolor, and when her family shared it with us, we knew immediately it belonged in the hands of the community.
